Each year from 2017 to 2019, students from the Australian National University visited cultural and economic site in Mongolia and met with academics, professionals, and pastoralists. They were there as part of a course called Modern Mongolia to learn about the economic, environmental and cultural challenges Mongolians face today.
Unfortunately due to travel restrictions the course could not be held during 2020. Instead, past students were asked to share some of their best photos from the course. The resulting online exhibition provides a snapshot of some of the experiences and memories of Modern Mongolia. Prizes were awarded to the students who submitted the best three photographs.
